Logistics Companies - The good & the bad

Just wondered whether anybody who has worked in the logistics sector has any insight into the more decent or not so good logistics companies to work with. Whether there's ones to snap their hands off or ones to avoid.

I have been approached by a recruiter regarding several logistics companies and just wondered what people's personal opinions are. These roles are more IT systems based than actual warehousing.

Be interested to hear people's thoughts and insights, if there are any!

I just left DHL supply Chain after 15 years with them and DHL Express.

Found them a great company to work for, i have moved to a smaller company still in global logistics but felt I'd done enough and wasn't get any further opportunities.

Only dissapointment for me after 15 years was not 1 senior to me called to wish me well. Literally finished at 5pm Friday and never turned my laptop back on, had to ring fleet to collect my car as it was still at my house s week later. All very strange.

Can't say if it was a good or bad move as I've only been gone a month I'm more the sales / commercial side.
