I'm just about to finish a contract, outside IR35, and may have a shot at 6 months in France.
Whilst I wait for my accountant and business advisors appointment for solid advice, is there anything I should be preparing to ask them, or does anyone have any advice ahead of that meeting please.

Im the director of my ltd co, and pay myself salary and dividends.

More details needed, e.g. would you be living in France? If so, will it be more or less than 182 days and do you have a French work permit?

Is your client UK based, or have any connections with the UK?

If it's purely a French company I would have thought it would be in HMRC's interest for you to be treated as "Outside IR35" so that you pay tax in the UK.

So they've asked me if I would be ok living in France, I answered yes. Beyond that I'm just waiting to see if I've got it first, and then flesh out the details, As its for 6 months I guess they'd have to sort a visa.
I'm just trying to prepare questions / solutions for any pitfalls that may arise if I get offered the job.

It is a purely French company. If it makes any difference, I have a very special set of skills..... (that may not be available in my speciality in France)
