WTD: Search Engine Optimisation wizard - Nottingham

We need to recruit someone to help us with our search engine marketing and optimisation work on clients' websites. Ideally candidates should have a degree in an IT related subject and at least 6 months experience in a similar role, but some training will be provided. You will need to develop a good understanding of the following areas:

- Website development and HTML
- On-page optimisation techniques
- Directory submission, link building strategies and ongoing campaigns
- Optimising for all major search engines and the differences between them
- Keyword analysis
- Pay-per-click marketing strategies and benefits
- Documenting processes to promote best practice for natural searches and paid campaigns

You will also need good communication skills and be able to explain SEO and its benefits in non-technical terms to clients, and occasionally prepare and present material at small seminars.

Salary £16-22k pa commensurate with experience.
