Web / Intranet / Extranet Developer - Chester

We are looking for an experienced Web Developer to assume responsibility for the complete development and maintenance of the company's website, intranet and extranet.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone wishing to get involved in what is essentially a greenfield project with an opportunity to develop a brand new B2B and B2C application that will become pivotal for day to day operations.
The ideal candidate will:
Have a proven track record of developing public sites and secure portals using Microsoft .NET Web technologies.
Identify and understand user requirements.
Proactively suggest improvements that could be made to the specification and / or working practices.
Work with other departments to achieve team and department goals.
Illustrate a clear understanding of system testing.
Work closely with other members of the IT and Commercial teams to offer integrated solutions to existing technologies and applications.
Provide training support where applicable.
Help to manage solutions into the business.
We are looking for someone with the following skills:
Experienced in ASP.NET, C#.NET, XHTML / XML, SQL, IIS, SSL and Crystal Reports.
Excellent grounding in IT and understanding of relational database systems.
In depth knowledge of web security principles and implementation of best practices.
Approachable, patient persona that can deal with staff at all levels.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Open minded approach to new initiatives.
Ability to work off own initiative.
Excellent organisational skills.
Team player.
