Do this :

Go on www.yell.co.uk -

Put in car servicing and your post code, put them in order relating to how far they are from you.

Do a simple CV, 1/2 page, name address and phone number, date of birth, hobbies and interests, and what options you are doing for GCSE and go and knock on the doors.

Within 2 miles of my house (L37 nowhere near you!) there are 25 plus businesses of the type you want experience in.

Note that there are certain risk assessment issues with employing under 18's in a workshop so be prepared to get that excuse. It's an excuse because It's simple enough to do a risk assessment and list the equipment you are not allowed to touch, but hey you have to ask, before you can get a no.

Oh and never accept a no. always say "Can I came back when i'm 16, and do you know anyone else that might want a gofer"

Paper round?

Go up to Croft and ask, they'll get you sweeping the track in no time.

Go and wash up in a pub? £3 for mornings work are they pissed? I know your in the north but thats below the belt..

I was a pot washer for a few years and made about 100 quid a week by doing a few shifts and it wasnt too bad.

You're only 15, you don't have the burdens of real life yet! Sell a motorbike? I had 8 cars at 1 stage and I had to sell most of them because I needed to live at uni, eat, pay rent etc. I have 2 cars now and a pile of bits that used to be a racing car, I have had my driving licence taken away I am thinking about selling my everyday road car.

Is it for the money or the experience ? If you want money, make bird tables in your garage and flog them on ebay.

If you have £80 disposable income per month, you are doing okay. My 15 year old has £15 a month to live on and he seem to be okay.

I dont think you will know the full extent until you get on the roads.

Besides, my brother is older than you and earns much less.

But then my dad does just give him money for no reason.

At the moment I wont say for fear of embarrassment, but I have had some bad fuel guzzlers.

Mainly my pug gti that did about 19 mpg hehe

But at least with your bikes you dont pay tax ect.

Try finding work in a local conference centre or something.

That's what I do... Do waiting, furniture moving, washing up, stuffing envelopes, whatever. 5.97 p/h during the week, 7.20 p/h during weekends. Best thign is to actually go to places and ask for an app form. Then if they don't phone within a week phone them up and ask - or they never get back to you.

Altogehter I earn 150+ per month for doing two shifts per week. I can earn earn 70+ in one day if I work all day on the weekend.
