Apparently, the interview structure is that the first meeting is to see if the team like me, then a more formal interview with questions/testing at a later date if successful.

So, any suggestions/advice? I really want the job.

Haha, cheers for thatwink

This is one of the first jobs I've applied for that I feel I would be really good at, and is pretty much ideal for me. They're looking for someone with my sort of background, albeit with more technical knowledge (of Data Migration and Manipulation - SQL, XML).

So, fingers crossed!

If you want them to like you, be yourself. If you're half decent, you've got a chance of them liking you. If you're a complete spanner...

If it were me, I would still treat it as a formal interview so suit would be worn.

Good luck anyway and keep calm. I have just accepted a job and my interview lasted eleven hours all in one day, four of which was spent in a pub with the team getting pissed watching football which was the forth stage of the interview process.

I would still treat it as fairly formal and dont get carried away and say stuff you may not have said in a formal interview if it may harm your chancs.

I hope that your new job is not as a proof reader,

I had an informal interview recently and got the job, didn't even have to do a follow up interview smile. As said above, wear a suit and try to be yourself. Even if they turn up in denims and t-shirt it at least shows them you can make yourself presentable. It wouldn't do any harm doing a bit of research on the company: products, clients, etc. Apparantly I told my interviewers a couple of things about the company they didn't know smile

Whilst I'm sure the advice is good and well meant, especially for a 1st post, I think it may have been delivered a little late.

On a slightly different topic, please, please, please confirm that you are the gentleman on this album cover..

Oops, I didn't even look at the date because the post was near the top of the forum, I assumed it was fairly recent. I cannot see the album cover you posted, but I will assume it was this smile
