Vacancy - SMART repairer (Cambs)

Apparently there's a global economic downturn. However, everyone in Cambridge, Ely and Newmarket wants their car bodywork sorting, now please.
Our technicians have the busiest diaries we've ever had, and our truly busy season doesn't start for 6-8 weeks or so. ChipsAway's national advertising campaign is going to a TV commercial run in the summer, at which point demand is going to massively exceed our capacity.
So, I need at least one more tech, sharpish.
Informal person spec:
Loves cars, and a bit perfectionist about their appearance
Excellent sales and interpersonal skills - our core customer base is either academic or very highly qualified/professionals and you need to be able to show you can communicate effectively with this sort of person
Manages own time well and works effectively with minimal supervision
Enjoys working in a different location each day and being out and about in all weathers
Full drivers license, clean a distinct advantage, advanced driving qualifications better
Ideally is already fully trained in all aspects of SMART repair (paint) or has extensive relevant bodyshop experience - other SMART repair skills (wheels, trim, PDR, glass) all advantages
Living within striking distance of the Cambridge/Ely/Newmarket triangle
A CRB check will be required.
For a truly exceptional candidate, a training contract would be considered, but you'd need to be extraordinarily quick to learn, and motivated.
We pay on a base salary plus profit share basis, which can mean for a motivated tech turning out rapid, excellent repairs coupled with top customer service, take-home pay is achievable far beyond what you'd expect for a car painter.
