Question to BAs Developers, SMEs, Project Workers

I have an interview on Friday for a role as an SME at a major IB working on a new software platform integration.
From the job description and requirements, I can clearly see that I have performed this role twice previously in other organisations as part of a business manager but not in a properly structured environment as will be in the new role, and not in an official capacity.
So while I have experience in the area, are yo guys able to provide me with any of your wisdom, and perhaps point out where SMEs you have come across have been lacking, or if there are any that had particular qualities that stood them out fro the crowd? I intend to take these on board and use them in the conversation I am about to have to hopefully stand out as the man to hire.
