CV Writing company? Or just some tips?
Discussion
Hi folks
well, like many on here I've been affected by the so-called economic downturn (despite the company I work for making more money, and CEO taking £xxm bonus) and I'm now on the lookout for a new job. I was told yesterday that my contract won't be renewed after June 30th.
So, would anyone advise using a CV writing agency and possibly recommend one? Or just some tips on sorting my own CV out and really making it stand out. I can string a sentence together, and I'm good at what I do, so I just need to convey that properly. If someone saw my CV now and discounted it because it was written craply, I'd be gutted.
If it makes any odds, my industry is IT.
Cheers all

I know of someone ex recruitment who does this part time. IIRC charges about 25 quid a pop and funnily enough is actually ex IT recruitment so knows the market you are looking at quite well.
Havent got his number on me but can get it if you wish to give him a call.
Thanks for that Jimmy. Escargot has given me some really good tips on writing my own, so I'm going to have a bash at sorting my CV this weekend. Havent got his number on me but can get it if you wish to give him a call.
