Hi,

I'm about to have my job role changed, the position is equal to or slightly more senior, but the new managment under which I will be working is questionable.

What rights to trialing this new position do I have?,

Also

Can elements such as my notice period (as identified in my original contract) be changed by managmenet when I change job roles? Currently the contract is 3 months notice, can they reduce this if they wish to?

Thanks for your help.

If you are moving as part of a re-deployment within a redundancy process then you have the right to a statutory trial period.

redundancy redeployment hasnt been mentioned - yet!

if its not part of a redunancy redeployment do I still have a statutory trial period, and who long is the trial period anyway?

In that case then there is no 'right' to a trial period unless dictated by the terms and conditions of employment. If this was within a redundancy process then you would be entitled to a 4 week trial period (or longer if extended by agreement).
