i just applied for a job which says "Salary: £200 p/day + good chance".

Any idea what the 'good chance' is supposed to mean?

Sounds like comission based and you have (in their opinion) a 'good chance' of earning £200+p/d.

What the terms of that are, how quickly payment follows sale, how many costs you have to carry yourself, etc, etc. you'll have to find out.

Enjoy. hehe
