Moving out of the UK for 12 months

Ill be leaving the UK late september for 12 months.. Should I sell my car?

I have a Mk4 VW Golf, prob worth around £3k - £3.5k, undecided whether it makes sense to sell before I go, or just leave it at the folks while im away. Any ideas how much it would depreciate in 12 months?

It is poss after the 12 months i will be staying away. Would like the cash in my sky rocket too..
