Just out of interest really, what would a car sales exec selling at a premium dealer e.g Audi/Mercedes etc, expect to earn a year?
I was thinking about this whilst perusing a few local garages. The salesmen at the more mainstream dealers e.g Ford must turn over more cars (albeit at lower prices) than Audi etc so is there any difference in their respective earnings?

At our BMW place, basics ranged from 12-16k.I was thinking about this whilst perusing a few local garages. The salesmen at the more mainstream dealers e.g Ford must turn over more cars (albeit at lower prices) than Audi etc so is there any difference in their respective earnings?
And Earnings ranged from low twenties (crap salesman) to low thirties (average salesman) to about 70-80 (a couple of long serving very good salesman).
Don't get hung up on the brands though, I earned more selling MINI's that most of the BMW lot. And people in Ford were making more than that..
