Eh' up people.
Can anyone help me out with some advice on Pro/Engineer.
I have a possible job lined-up teaching advanced CAD using Pro/E and Pro/Design, I have never used this system before but I'm competent in CATIA V5, SolidWorks, UG and AutoCAD.
How much different is Pro/E? How hard is it going to be to pick-up the basics?
Also does anyone know any good websites with tutorial videos, readme's and guides for basic use of the system?
I've had a look at some pics and it looks like a standard CAD front screen but I just want to be able to get into the system and get started.
Cheers for any help.

The basics are al the same, curve set generation, parametric modelling, features etc.
Feature trees - step back forward etc. nothing to be scared of.
Dashboard and icons are similar.
But as with every system, basics are easy - getting into full surface modelling, stitching, swept surfaces and the like - each system has its merits.
Different systems for different markets - different features and parametisation. Everywhere I've been, have only ever used 50% of its capabilities.
It depends on what level you are teaching.

You should be ok provided you play with it a bit, find the commands and any weird idiosyncrasies that exist between CAD packages, such as how constrainst work on assemblies or how explode works, get a good text book and depending on your student's ages let them play abit building models and using features.
I swapped from ProE to CATIA and took probably 2 months to get reasonably coonfident with the bits i needed to use.
