Does anyone on here work in haulage / freight / logistics?
Discussion
Morning All,
was wondering if anyone on here worked in the above industry?
I am currently job hunting and was looking for sector specific Agencies as well as applying direct.
Are there any particular agencies you allways go to for recrutment, or a selecction of the best ones?
Although the indutry is in a bit of a mess at the moment, it is the only thing I really know after completing my A levels, so would rather utilise my experience and background to my advantage rather than change completley.
Many thanks in advance

Hi Muzzer,
thanks for the links, a great help
Area wise, I am not too fussy, have 3 years in road haulage (freight forwarding primarily, but also operating to an extent) and 6 years in sea frieght as a Ships agent, plus also pallet distribution (as and when needed where I am now to assist)
My main concern at the moment is my place of work, and the lack of security or progression that comes with the company. I want to ensure my future, and this is a place that I can not see me being able to do that.
I am open to options and ideas, like I said in my OP, I want to be able to utilise my skill set to my benefit (theres no point in having worked hard to get where I am and not make the most of it, especially without having gone to uni)

Hi,
I also work in logistics. In addition to the websites listed above, also have a look at
