Are there any terms or any bits of small print you should pay particular attention to when reviewing/signing an employment contract?

Too broad a question, but to take a stab in the dark look for a mobility clause which will allow the organisation to move you wherever they like. Also not sure what industry you're in but some would use restrictive covenants.

Oh and see what it says about anything you invent.

But without any further detail i.e. Industry, job, what you're concerned about I'm inclined to agree with the previous poster.
