Any recommendations as how to do this by distance learning on evenings/weekends ?
What sort of fees are we talking about ?
(Not sure whether to put this under the Business heading)

Hi mate, forget the fast track courses and go to your local college and do the city and guilds 2330 level 2 which takes 2 yrs one day a week and level 3 which takes a further yr.Those are minimum qualifications to become an Electrician. Most of the courses you see advertised are for "domestic installers" which are a waste of money and couldn't careless what you do afterwards. To get into the business you need to get as much on-site experience as possible. Currently rates are very poor(like all trades at the mo) and there's not much work around.

What do you do at the moment?
