How do perspective employers view second jobs?
Discussion
Just a quick one,
I am currently trying to find a new sales role and I cant decide if I should disclose on my CV about a secondary income. On weekends and the odd evening I work with golfers and other sports people as a mind coach. I get paid for what I do and I have qualifications.
Should I put this on my CV or is it a case of what I do in my own time is upto me?

I was in Sales and was in the process of moving from one job to the next . At the same time i had just started a business which was providing a second income. I was upfront with them from day 1 and it didn't cause any issues at all. In fact to some degree it might have done me a favour.
It depends on if the sales role is anyway sports or psych-related, it which case it may work to your advantage. However, if your sales role requires evening and weekend work, it may do the opposite.
Best bet is not to put it in your work history but in the 'very interesting things about me that make me more of a human being' section at the bottom.
