As the title implies, I am currently looking for race or design engineering work. A contract I have been working on for a few years has come to a rather sudden end and I haven't kept my network as upto date as I should have!! I am experienced as a race engineer in GT1,2,3. Worked as a CFD aerodynamicist in F1 for 5 years and also have supercar aerodynamic design experience and GT race car design experience. I have run wind tunnel development programmes in F1 and GT (model and fullscale). Prior to obtaining a degree in Aeronautical Engineering I have worked in motorsport since I was a kid (usual fetching tea and polishing rims etc) leading on to mechanicing formula fords and F3, so not adverse to single seaters at a more club level, in fact for giggles I have been known to race engineer formula fords at the festival, and finish on the podium !!

If anyone has a serious job offer I can of course furnish them will a full CV and references...

I am not adverse to getting my hands grubby and actually enjoy working a spanner every now and then

As my CV implies I am certainly motorsport orientated, but I wouldn't be adverse to looking at other avenues at least in the short term, so If you need a widget designing in CAD, I can do that too !

Few q's.

What CAD systems are you proficient in?
Do you have any experience in Team Center PLM (ideally with V5)?
Are you only interested in long term contracts or would you also consider some shorter term stuff?

Catia V5

Never used Team Centre PLM only Enovia I am afraid

Short term would be okay, but of course long term if the job is the right one !!
