SME internationalisation
Discussion
Hi All,
I am currently researching in UK firms heading to South East Asian as a new market.
I have worked with 5 SMEs till date but am facing problems in committment from the UK firms. 1 successful others failed.
what is ur take on this subject?
My work is potentially to introduce UK firms to similar sized firms with similar management views.
There are alot of market gaps and opportunities in the market in the east and I look to tap into this with international companies.
PS: I am a student currently and do it for learning and experience
the 1 company I have worked with (I was not paid for it) but they have added a good amount of revenues with minimal investments (only travel and accomodation) as it was using the partnered firms existing infra in both cases.
I would be finishin my degree now(this yr) and would like to do this as a business.

Don't know if it helps or not, but an old friend runs www.enternships.com which will give you experience of working with small businesses/startups/entrepreneurs - and what you offer could be attractive to them.
