I've been working for a large estate agent who are also in several other lines of business for the last 5 years. I finally have enough private work coming in and contacts to branch out on my own.

My father did similar 2 years ago and hasn't looked back since, saying he wishes he'd done it earlier, so now at 28 years old I'm biting the bullet and going for it.

I'm looking for appropriate names for my company which involves Architecture, design, planning, surveying and draughting.

Can you think of anything, funny, witty and relevant that may be the perfect fit? So far I like Sourceplan, which I found funny, but no one seems to get!

I don't get it either. Oh wait, yes I do. But not in a good way. I wouldn't think you meant it. Besides, there's no cleverness unless it was a kitchen business for example.

Are you sure funny is the image you want to portray to your potential client base? Would professional be more appropriate?

Maybe not funny but a play on words in some way. Plan is obvious as I use and prepare building/site plans. Source as in heat source/energy source which is the kind of thing I specify on jobs I undertake.

Guess it's just my twisted sense of humour. rolleyes
