Pratt & Miller are looking for a few gifted people, according to their FaceAche page...
I'm not sure if they'd be prepared to sponsor foreign engineers, but it couldn't hurt to ask.
If I were qualified, I'm hard-pressed to think of a cooler place to work. (I was thinking NASA, but they are laying people off, left, right and center at the moment).

OK, sorry to have troubled you. Given that this is a site that caters for people with an interest in cars and technology, I would have thought it might have been of some interest.
If working with a group of people who's reputation is unsurpassed in their field, and who's stellar record, globally in GT racing is the envy of the sport isn't cool, then I'm obviously misguided.

Genuinely surprised at the chilly, dismissive response - mainly because there seems to be a steady stream of threads from people with engineering credentials, asking about opportunities in successful automotive environments.I'm not an engineer, but do a lot of work with GM. Pratt & Miller's reutation in the industry is of the very highest order and goes far beyond Corvette Racing.

If you're young, single and living in the 80s, I think me neighbours daughter had the best job in the world.
When I was growing up, the daughter was in her early 20s. Her job was to go on holiday. A week at a time. In resorts all over the world. From self catering caravans to 5* luxury. At the end of the week, she had to write the small paragraph about the hotel for the holiday brochure. Probably 50 words max. No more. She had to time herself walking to the shops and the beach/bar.
She might even have to try the facilities in the Hotel, but essentially she went on holiday for a job.

I really hate to say this, but I really fear that if you worked at NASA, it wouldn't be quite like you expected.They do have loads of really cool technician and engineer roles, and obviously there's astronauts. The thing for me would be that most of their hardcore engineering is contracted out.
I'm sure that NASA are really quite good for system operation and perhaps integration, but their engineering is somewhat more remote. You'd have really high odds of ending up in a project manager role, and I don't know if that would interest me.
Take the Moonshot for example, the lander was Grumman, the Command/Service Module was North American/Rockwell. The rocket was a combination of Douglas, Boeing, North American/Rockwell etc. Computers by IBM... you name it.
The only thing NASA genuinely did was the engines! It's not bad, but it's not the whole.
All of their stuff is like that. I know where I'd rather be!
