apprenticeship in motor sector.

hi i am 16 years old and looking to do a apprenticeship for a service technician course. i want to be a service technician (mechanic).
i want to know if anyone is doing it and how it is. day to day basis. how it feels. is it any good.

also if any employer/company is offering a place in sheffield, i am available.
