wanting agency driving work (cat c)

Hi there.

Does anybody know any good agencies for hgv class 2 driving. After agency work in the shropshire/cheshire ish area.

I have scanned google and done all the usuals of monster, fish4, gumtree but as ever the wealth of knowledge on this forum will no doubt surprise as it has each and every time!

Got to say i dont really know. I have a full time job with but have the odd few weeks off every now and again twiddling my thumbs and i want to keep busy.

Ive done a lot of class 2 work for agencies. I despise the places. They promise you work when its not there, leave you sat about at clients premises just incase they need you, always get your pay wrong, speak to you like pricks. Imagine the worst place you have ever worked, and you will have some idea what working for a driving agency is like. Im just fortunate now that I have a permanent job.

Pay wise you can probably expect about £7.50 per hour, maybe 50p more if you have ADR or Hiab.

If you have a full time job, maybe ask there for overtime if your keen for more work. I really wouldnt bother with agencies.

It is however your decission!
