Finally after many years I qualified as an accountant last year, I have just landed a Financial controllers position this year. I want to work hard and develop as much as I can and then move to the UAE in 2014. The hot weather, tax free salary and lush life style appeals to me. The muslim world is not an issue for me too!

Does anyone here have any experiences in the middle east? The UAE esp.

To be honest, 3 years is a long time - especially in the UAE.

There are rumours that the rules on taxation of expats may change, which may change your outlook somewhat.
