Would quite fancy this- only as a customer service assistant or something. I checked the website but it mentions no vacancies at all in customer service or even anything as train drivers. I find this hard to believe!
Would it just be a case of sending a spec CV +letter?

Surely at any one time they must have some vacancies- even with a restructuring exercise?

there are plenty of jobs as the people who stand in the hidden compartments in the train and open and shut the doors, and make the sound effect for it as well.

Don't believe so. You could find some with the subbies, e.g. cleaning contractors, engineering services. But no vacancies in front line ops

As others have said LUL are not recruiting at the moment for full time CSAs
due to the restructuring programme going on at the moment.

However, once this has been completed I imagine they will start it up again as turnover is pretty constant and generally you have to start as a CSA before you can go for train op or station supervisor,etc.
