A daunting move..
Discussion
After spending seven years at the same firm I have finally done something about moving on.
Mainly driven by my seven month old son and the missus not wanting to go back to work and being generally pissed off at how the place is run, also not getting away on jobs as much as I would like.
I hand my notice in tomorrow morning to move into an offshore service engineer role.
I will miss the Skippering and the marine side of it but its at least 180 days offshore and all over the world.
Its exciting but bloody scary aswell. Ah f
k it, here goes!
Any advice from chaps involved in traveling between rigs?
