I am fairly used to interviews in the above style but this is the first time a firm haven't given me a copy of their competencies. I only have the original job advert to work from.

Could any recruitment people cast their eye over the advert and give me their thoughts?

Cheers.

Have you asked them for it? Maybe it's part of the test to see if you will! Or maybe they think they've sent it to you and it hasn't got to you. I'd ask.

Yeah I asked when I was advised of the interview and they were not giving anything away. Just said go off the job description.

That's not a recruitment strategy I recognise. One could conclude that they 'don't do HR' or don't have the skills or inclination to produce and maintain JDs. It could all be above board however and you may be the first incumbent and you'll be writing the job description and person specification if you're successful. Good luck and do let us know how you get on, it could be interesting!

I'd be surprised if they don't do HR. They are a major logistics company.

There is a link in your profile that says email me - I clicked on that. It will be the email you registered with I think.
