Quick Question For Employers in Banking/Finance
Discussion
I run a largish team (25) of derivative product controllers for one of the big four. Rightly or wrongly I wouldn't entertain even interviewing someone who had experience in sales/production/account management and had an MBA. I do recruit graduates without any experience and I do recruit qualified accountants with no direct experience, providing that they can survive one of my technical interviews.
I have two recruitment agents that I work closely with and I suppose if one of them said to me that there's this guy and he's really good then I'd speak to them. But only if it came from one of my trusted agents.

Thought as much, thanks for the answer. I have two recruitment agents that I work closely with and I suppose if one of them said to me that there's this guy and he's really good then I'd speak to them. But only if it came from one of my trusted agents.
