redundant nanny .. who can she ask about redunders money

the g/f is a nanny , job is ending as theyve decided to move away

shes looked on a few sites and it sounds like shes possibly due some money , the family are alkward and they type do not pay unless forced to

is there any official place the g/f can speak to and get a firm yes or no
