Does the P45 usually show your personal pension contributions or other legal salary sacrifices or taxable income only?

It won't show pension conts. or sal sac amounts. The taxable pay figure will just be the net of sal sac conts.

One disadvantage of salary sacrifice schemes is that official documentation such as P60s or P45s will show reduced levels of salary compared to what you were officially earning.

However, you should be able to explain to potential new employers why the figures are what they are.
