As per title really - my personal circumstances have changed recently & as a result I'm looking for full time work closer to home (Milton Keynes). I don't wish to sound big headed but consider myself one of the best technicians around, over 15 years experience with motorsport and Porsche background, very good with electrics. I'm probably better suited to an independant garage or a more specialized role, rather than main dealer work but all options considered. You will not be disappointed! Feel free to PM me or post here.

I'm willing to travel for a good opportunity but the fuel price is killing me currently - i'd have to take this into account with any offers. I'd be looking for a typical good tech's wage.

there's a car manufacturer called ace? didn't know that frown
ace means sfa. try again but use qualified, experienced in.. etc
sell your abilities, not your chav-speak

I guess you have nothing positive to add - why bother posting?

However, if you are interested in my job history, the 4 most recent roles include electric car development & manufacture, Porsche specialist technician, engine test & dyno operator, technician for a major fuel supplier on a European promo tour.

my point was folk will see your topic title "ace mechanic..." and not bother to read the post.
porsche and motorsport background, experience with electrics will attract more attention.
ace mechanic sounds like an amateur, something it would appear you're not.
just trying (poorly) to get you to sell yourself better.

Drop me a PM, I can put you in touch with a specialist motorsport and tech industry recruiter. He only places based on qual+exp, but does have contact with most F1, Works and factory based teams, along with group recruitment with all UK based manufacturers.

I've seen the offers he has handled in the past too; £50k relocation payment for ideal candidates etc eek
