Working Holiday or equiv in Canada for a US citizen?
Discussion
Myself and the missus (not married) who is a US citizen are considering a 12 month stay in Canada to live, work and travel. It seems quite straightforward for a British citizen to apply for a Working Holiday visa/Experience Canada and I have friends who've done it so no problem there.
The problem is for the good lady. We are struggling to find any way for her to get in on a temporary basis as a US citizen. Even if we were married, she could get in as my spouse but I don't know if she would be able to work.
Does anyone have any advice on the options for temporary rather than permanent immigration into Canada for a US citizen? She has a bachelors degree and is 23 if that makes any difference though I think it would be tight on the points scheme for permanent immigration.
Any thoughts?
