I saw one today and fell in love with it. As the waiting time is a likely 5 months+ the dealer wouldn't/couldn't give a firm trade in price for my E90 335i which is fair enough. They agreed though that my car was immaculate and with it's new wheels/tyres and recently renewed warranty it was a ready to go AUC car and one they would definately want on their forecourt as they don't come up often.

So as the trade in at the time will likely be gash I'm trying to badger them for a bit of discount to soften the blow, I know it's unlikely but wondered if anyone had managed it?

Nice one mate, the guy is ringing me back on Monday hopefully so I'll see what the score is!

People seem to be getting ridiculous discounts on M3's so that may be another option.

I've been told by two dealers no discount, they seem to think it's some kind of e30 clone. I'd still have one at a discount but for me the hype has died already and it really is just a special l series in contrast the csl wasn't a just a 3 series.

My dealer refused to discount mine, however I did manage to get an extra or two thrown in for free.

If you buy a £40,000 BMW they generally throw in a prof sat nav. This is what to expect.

However, they won't also give a discounted service pack, trust me!

What are people seeing as residual values? On a 4 year deal they have given me as an example the residual value is only £14k Seems low if they are limiting supply...

I'm seeing something similar. I'm looking at it as a savings scheme, given their is little you can do to influence the GFV you're offered. I did shop around, but a higher GFV came with a higher interest rate...
