have 2, one is completely new. also, once unlocked a couple of seconds later if you open the door the window goes down, then after you close the door the window goes back up by itself.... smile must be a program option?

i'll have a play with both keys tomorrow and see whats what

They are called car/key memory options, have a Google to see what's available. You can program auto-lock above 5mph, selective door unlocking etc. There's not much you can do without software + hardware to reprogram the car, it'll have to be done at a dealer who will charge probably an hour or so to reprogram.

The car can remember the seat/mirror positions, radio presets and air con settings, and remember them against each key. So if you are swapping between keys, you might notice a difference.

they both seem to be doing the same (i think).

1x press to unlock, unlocks the drivers door. a longer press and hold opens all windows.
however, if the same button is pressed once and a few seconds later you open the door the drivers windows opens and then shuts after the door is closed.
a second press unlocks both doors and the boot.
press and hold the boot button to unlock the boot.
