bluetooth pairing mode

e46 m3 54' plate. how do you get the bluetooth into pairing mode?

ive tried holding down the button whist turning on the ignotion to 1 or 2 setting and also turned on the car with it held, but no joy....

silly question but does your car actually have bluetooth?

sure does, managed to crack it. held on for 1 sec whilst durning ignition to 2nd turn and let go. i was holding too long...
