Running in service (specifically 1M but also M3)

Hi All,

Question for those in the know please. I have a 1M but in the past month have covered 300 miles. Im thinking ill be hitting 1200 in about 3 months so wondered if there was a time limit along with the 1200 mark, as in 1200 miles or 2 months what ever comes first. OR is it just 1200 miles?

Not based on time but on distance (varying loads on the engine). Get out and drive that car or hand it over to me for a weekend... ! ;-)
