No names mentioned (yet), had some work done on the M3 under warranty, mainly the rear diff oil kit, anyways, get home after a hour thirty min drive to find a cigarette lighter in the back of the seat, then checked the engine bay to find a 8inch screwdriver sat on top of the engine just next to the strut brace.... just wondered what sort of damage this could have caused if it had fell off somewhere else????
not too impressed.

Could of caused all sorts of damage if it had become lodged in a moving part. Could easily have snapped a belt I'd have thought.

Could of, but hasn't! Very lucky indeed. Bet it'll be a pretty good driver too, EBAY!

although not a main dealer like i'm sure your car went to, i took mine to a reputable indy and found a cloth in the engine bay!!! that could have caused some damage had it lodged up the radiator fan, fan belt etc! i wasn't very happy to be honest!
