Great pics, amazing how big the original silencers are. So how does it sound?
It sounds really good actually. Its not much louder when at high revs, just a bit more F1. Lower down, around 3krpm, where its normally a bit dull its much nicer. Its almost a howl like a V12 Ferrari. It does all this without sounding daft.Sounds like a great balance. Nice when a sports exhaust enhances the sound making it more "tuneful" rather than boominess, etc. Looks like a very well made piece of kit and I like the fact the tail pipes look better than standard but not OTT. Very nice car by the way, guess they must be rare in the UK....

Fairly rare yeah. Only 222 came to the UK. The only ones ive ever seen other than mine have been other PHers at meets.Carlton Banks said:
What H&S's r&d relating to their systems?
Any power guarantees?
I wouldnt have thought there would be any significant power gains from just the backboxes. Could be wrong though, but the car would need to be mapped to suit the boxes to find out anyway. The M5 always struggles to give gains unless you do the whole system, its already very well tuned from stock.Any power guarantees?

Nice exhausts . Any issues with BMW warranty with these fitted ??
Shouldn't affect anything other than the exhaust part of the warranty, but seeing as exhausts are wear items you'd struggle to claim for anything other than total failure of the part. Suppose it depends on your dealer too.Gassing Station | M Power | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
