E61 M5 - Tyre choices
Discussion
Car is in for an MOT this afternoon, and likely to get call that fronts and poss back tyres all need changing in now/ in very near future.
Currently have Dunlop Sport SP Maxx, and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on staying with these or trying other tyres. I know these tyres are factory fitted, but any suggetsions would be appreciated.
Looking for longevity rather than performance in the wet etc.
Also anyone in the South West area that recommend anywhere cheaper than Bathwick Tyres?
Cheers

Thanks Eddie, tried them but showing none in stock and no date of when new ones will arrive.
This is now giving me a headache as Dunlop have serious back order issues apparently. As expected none of the local tyre centres keep these sizes in stock:
For the fronts - 255 40 R19 (Y)
For the rears - 275 35 R19 (Y)
Dunlop have either the SP Sport 01 in both sizes, which are circa Fr £219 and Rr £231.
And it looks like SP Sport Maxx that I currently have, have been revised with the Sport Maxx GT which are coming in around £250 mark if you can find them anywhere...
Currently only option at Bathwick Tyres is 01 on the front and Maxx GT on the rear, which are the same compound, load/speed rating but annoying as not matched on all four corners.
Trying BMW now, but unlikely to go with them as their prices will be ridiculous
