Anyone on here ordered the new M5 ?

Subject to the part exchange offer, I think Im going to move my f11 520D to the new M5 if I can get the discount offered by Broadspeed.
Was thinking of just going M sport seats and the pro hi-fi with a few little items and the price came out at just under £69500. Comparing it to the new 991 c2s with a similar spec which was coming out at £94000! it starts to make the M5 look good value.
So anyone else on here taking the plunge ?

Plus broadspeed make me laugh with their pricing, I don't know anyone who has ordered a high end car and paid the initial price advertised on there, run of the mill stuff no problem but rare new models, no. But..... Of it is that price, put me down for one too coz they will be selling over list if there is no waiting time!!!
They're coming back to me tomorrow so I'll spill the beans if they can. I've bought vehicles from them before and coast2coastcars with no problems but admittedly they were high end diesels and not special editions.
On another note I've had a fourth Porsche dealer ring me today trying to get me to put a deposit down on the new 991. After a long conversation it seems the take up is not going as well as expected. The new price of the 991 plus the economic uncertainties seems to be hitting home.

I have been speaking to my dealer on and off now for a couple of weeks and was ready to put a deposit down this week. That was until they extended the 3 months delivery to 6 months, confirmed no discount, need to confirm spec upon putting down deposit, no refund of deposit and no test drive option before delivery. I also have niggles such as the 'average' looks and do I really need a 4 door car.
I do however like the idea of the engine and noise (at least from the outside from the reviews). The interior looks OK and I like the M seats and upgraded 20" wheels but I'm now only 50/50 on a purchase and so I decided to look at other options instead.
I am impatient but there are too many negatives at the moment for a circa £85K investment once you've added options.

Have been a serial car changer in the past, and just a bit nervous about dropping big £££ in a short space of time due to the world melting around us! 
When I ordered it, I'd sort-of convinced myself that the new m5 would be in sufficient demand that I could flip out of it in the first 6 months without dropping too much cash on the basis that demand would be strong.
Don't get me wrong, this wasn't an investment and always accepted that there would be a cost to owning, but the economic situation is disintegrating faster that i ever thought it would!

I guess it comes down to a simple question, which is, do you want the car to drive in or invest in? If you want it to drive then buy it, drive it, enjoy it and take the depreciation hit.
If you want to invest I fear you have backed the wrong model....

As per my message, never expected it to be an investment. Always expected it to depreciate, bit the economic backdrop means I think the depreciation could be a lot more than I originally estimated. If you want to invest I fear you have backed the wrong model....

What is the list price on the continent ? You can order a UK spec RHD car from any dealer in Europe....apparently the economy is f

I claim I can offer 10% discount (this only applies while I dont actually have any cars and when I do actually get some this discount won't apply).... 
As I asked before, have you now had a firm offer from them, I went back to my dealer who I am talking to about ordering one and he just laughed when we looked at the Broadspeed site.
