Hi,

found this M3 at a salvage yard today.
http://youtu.be/LBqC5TsfY3k

Saw it a couple times in Helsinki and it did look absolutely stunning in that color combination and sure it looks still, however, the front isn't looking that great. I have no further information about the crash, at least at the moment, but just decided to share this vid.

Oh, and by the way the asking price is 40k€.

seems pretty safe to me - just a blue M3 with no front end!

Yeah, sorry. I must admit it looks a bit scary if you don't know it's the "shorter link-version".

Original is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBqC5TsfY3k if it looks more safe.

Yep, you got it right 35k£. It seems a bit overpriced to me as well, although, due taxation new M3 price start here with a price tag of 103k£ and used E92 M3 (2007) coupes are around 61k£. I believe they are a bit more expensive than in UK. wink

One thing I have been wondering about, is that why haven't the airbags gone off? I mean the front is pretty damaged and I think it should have launched at least driver's airbag. Just a coincidence?

Having spent a weekend in Helsinki (moy moy biggrin ) this summer (where it was 30 fricking degrees!) I was amazed how much more expensive it is than even London!

Airbags only go off if the car decides it needs them. Probably find the impact was severe, but dealt with my the crash structure of the car instead of the active components like airbags, pre tensioners etc.
