Looking for a E86 Z4 M Coupe car or shell for my next race project

I am not too concerned about condition or registration papers etc as the car will never see the road again so an insurance write off car would suit as long as the shell is in good condition

So does anybody know where there is anything LHD or RHD car will make no difference although LHD would be better

I considered doing the same last year, did all the costs and it was cheaper and easier to buy a shell, 10k I seem to remember, E46 engines are easily sourced so it doesn't make sense to buy a road car IMO

I looked at that also but £10000 for a bare shell then you have to buy all the trailing arms , diif carrier , door hinges , dash , hubs , bumper supports etc etc etc and it soon adds up

At least if i bought a Z4M coupe for £15000 i could sell a lot of parts off it like , diff , gearbox , body panels , interior , wheels , etc etc and i would have an S54 engine and every nut and bolt along with the trailing arms , diif carrier , door hinges , dash , hubs , bumper supports

There was a cat D one for sale for about £12k a while ago, I'll see if I can dig out the details.

Otherwise you should be able to find a tatty (or high miler) Z4MC for a good bot less than £15k. When mine was for sale, I didn't get an offer over £15k - although no-one actually came to see it.
