I had a valet mode on the Dreadnought (not sure exactly how it worked, but I reduced/ removed boost AFAIK), it was a faff to do so I never bothered. I'd hope it'd be simple on an OEM setup.

Ahh, are you literally about to drop it off somewhere? Best get googling if so!

Aha, I'll move it to the relevant forum and retitle it then...

Mine (E65) has a valet key, that allows you to lock the central armrest and (by flicking a switch inside it) lock the boot but the car is still driveable with the other bit of the key. Not sure about a valet mode though?

There is no BMW valet mode, but the keys come apart for security (locking glove box etc) as already mentioned.

no such thing as a valet mode in standard car, well there is but its the locking and securing of the boot and glove box.

I have heard that Superchips do a 'valet' mode for the ECU which can be selected as one of the options (sport/normal/valet).

Bill, you know me......you think the Dorchester let me in?

Well they did once.......I got wasted with some people I didn't know.......ended up in there looking for a beer. They wouldn't serve us.

The idiot I was with shouted "Do you know who I am"

TO my suprise, they did know who he was, or more so his father, but they still wouldn't serve him.

Then they threw us out.

biggrin
