Just wondered what people are paying for their M powered e46? My 330 wasn't that bad and this time round the M isn't either, however most other sites/companies quoted 900£ minimum.....

Hmmm, makes my £900 sound expensive and that's before you take into account the mandatory £3k excess. Must try harder next year...

Comparing premiums based on price alone means nothing.

You'd need location, driver details, driving history, car history, etc.

For example, my insurance for a car parked on the drive in Liverpool 25, doing 20,000 miles a year, for a 41 year old, for SDCP & business use is 4 times the premium of a45 year old who's parked in a garage on a rural Cheshire postcode, doing 5,000 miles a year SDP only.

Very True and mine is based on SDP & Business, town centre address. Annoyingly my speeding ban from 9 years ago still has an impact.

Wouldn't normally use Tesco but they were the lowest for me less another 15% with their club card voucher so £550 with a £250 excess 5 yr no claims and no tracker, 33yr old male parked on drive.

Correct, but the OP was asking how much we are paying so I told them how much and with who. I could also add that quotes for me varied from the £400 up to £2000 for the same cover so it is perhaps worthwhile trying some of the companies suggested.

£1500 - Im 25. Live in a pretty quiet area. 7 years NCB.

This is the best I could find.. I had an e36 M3 at 21 and that was about £3k a year!

The price I pay to be in an M car..

Just - but I don't like to talk about it! ;-)

My T350C with them is £300 so I make that £700 for 700bhp(ish)!
