M5 warning bongs

When I need fuel (quite often) the car tells me by means of a bong. Does anybody know how to either turn the bong off or the volume down.

I am not a daft American and can actuallynread a fuel gauge so don't need the idiot warning.... I have been through the I-drive but can't see anything.

No way to turn them off manually. You can however have it mapped out by a specialist, such as CA Automotive.

You should be able to turn it down in volume settings via I drive
