Hi, I've been looking to purchase an M3 for a while now, but happy to take my time as prices tumble further. I'm after a DCT saloon, 2008 (facelift) with <10k miles. Seen quite a few 2011 reg cars for approx £43k with good options. Now this is slightly out of budget (max £40k), so I was wondering what I should expect to pay for these. Many have already been reduced by BMW and it looks as if they are struggling to shift stock. I know a used car price negotiable to a certain extent, but how much? Any help appreciated.

Find a £43k one, go in to the dealer and tell him you'll buy for £40k there and then. You'll be leaving with a new car.

Or, speak to Freedom Contracts who are leasing them on a 6+23 for 470 a month. Or they were last month when I was looking. That'll work out less than the depreciation.

In fact, looks like even BMW dealers are doing it around 420+vat a month.

Crazy deals. I've also seen similar numbers for a C63. But you didn't ask about that!

Thanks for the replies. I saw a deal with Eastern BMW last week for £3700 deposit and 24 month agreement for £550 p/m or there abouts.

It'll be a PCP agreement, so ideally I'd like to negotiate a good a price as possible. No doubt I'll be shafted when it comes to trading in.

Is that £470 + VAT business users only though?

Not really a fan of Mercedes, they've never appealed to me.

They say for business but really they'll let you have it personally, just add the VAT.
