E39 M5 FUEL CALCULATION HELP
Discussion
The M5 is coming out of hibernation this week and I need a little help for a trip I am planning (taking my son to a training course).
The trip is 300 miles each way and almost all motorway so my question is simple - how far will a full tank get me ?(not filled it up for a year so not even sure how much it costs to fill up). I will just be travelling at 70mph so not exactly flying.
The good thing is I should be able to claim around 50% of the fuel cost back so any advice welcome

Hi
I recently did a trip to coventry from my home south wales
340 mile round trip mostly motorway of course but i was alone so did have sevearal
parts where i may have pushed it a bit
filled up just before i left £80 in fuel as car was quite empty on arrival back home trip computer was showing 43 miles left that being said i have not used the car since so it will probably be less when i start her up at best i got 24.6 mpg at 70 ish but kept getting bored at that speed lol.

Furthest I have ever got on a single tank of fuel is 369 miles. See http://www.fuelly.com/driver/quinten/m5/log. 300 should be doable.
