Nothing to do with me but spotted this in the local classic auction (H&H) that’s happening next week, potentially a bargain for someone who is feeling braver than me.

I was looking at that yesterday.

I'm off work next week and I was going to pop over to Buxton for their auction and was looking to see if they had any tasty bits. TBH, for me there isn't much else other than the M5.

Couple of 8's if they float your boat but what actually makes it to the auction doesn't always tie up with what they advertise.

A lot of car for the money but as has been well documented, purchase price is one thing and running it is another. At that age all manner of things are likely to need attention. When M5s get to a certain age, unless they have an exemplary (and essentially uneconomic)maintainence history they have money pit written all over them. Great car when working properly but likely to be a beautiful frustration.
