E60/61/63 K&N Panel Filter

Hello Guys,

Simple question this time. Is anyone running a K&N (or similar) panel filters? If so what if any gains are you experiencing?

Any negatives with these types of filters?

Apparently its better to stick with standard filters. The best way to get decent gains on the M5 is with air scoops that divert air direct to the intakes. RPI do these scoops. From there a good map will give a little more. Dont expect big gains from the M5 though, these are pretty hot out of the box. In fact some mods cause more losses than gains.
